Acer becomes Official Supplier of FC Barcelona

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (14 February, 2007) - Acer, the fourth largest vendor in the global IT market (Gartner data, 4Q 2006), today announces the signing of a two-year official agreement with FC Barcelona.

From January 2007, Acer has become Official Supplier of FC Barcelona, one of the most celebrated European teams, winner of two European Cups, four European Cup-Winners Cup, three Fairs Cup (now known as UEFA Cup), two European Supercups, eighteen Spanish League Championships, twenty-four National Cups (Copa del Rey) and many more.

Acer and the European Football giant - number one in the "All-time Club World Ranking" recently published by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) - are known throughout the world for their winning mentality and for the global recognition of their brand names.

Under the terms of the deal, Acer will be exclusive Official Supplier to FC Barcelona in the category of Notebook and Desktop PC (Exclusive for Spain only).
