Acer Smartphones Rank No. 3 in Thailand in Q1 2014 in Sales Quantity

Acer smartphones reached No. 3 in Thailand for Q1 2014 in sales quantity by shipping a record 336,380 units in total, according to data by Canalys(1).

Thailand is one of the major markets for Acer in Asia. Since 2013, Acer has partnered with Thailand’s largest mobile operator, Advanced Info Service (AIS), to offer the Liquid Z3 smartphone with AIS’ 3G Super Combo package at over 950 AIS dealers and 7,000 branches of 7-eleven convenience stores nationwide. 300,000 units of the Liquid Z3 have been shipped in the first quarter of this year.
